Paint an Indirect Oil Portrait

A four-week oil painting class with Maggie Parr, July 17-August 6, 2026, 2:30-5 pm at Riley Street Art Supplies in San Rafael, CA.

$280 class fee includes all materials. All you bring is a table easel.

You will begin with a black and white value study, which will be the underpainting for 3 more layers of color. Along the way, you'll learn about values, lighting, color, and the wonders of oil painting. By the end, you will have a completed portrait that will amaze you!

All levels are welcome.
